Safe Silver Spring
Our next Safe Silver Spring meeting, our annual legislative briefing, is sponsored by Councilmember Marc Elrich, the new chair of the County Council Public Safety Committee.  Key speakers include Chief Manger, Seantor Raskin, and Delegates Dumais and Waldstreicher.  Chief Manager will discuss legislation dealing with police body cameras among other topics.  More details on the legislation to be discussed will be forthcoming.

Free Open House at the Silver Spring B&O Railroad Station! The Silver Spring Historical Society and Montgomery Preservation Inc. sponsor this monthly free public open house at the historic Silver Spring B&O Railroad Station.  Limited free parking is available in front of the station with ample street parking and a parking garage available nearby. The railroad station is also an easy four-block walk from the Silver Spring Metro station.

(Re)Acts is a community-minded event used to delve deeper into and diversify the perspectives on topics that are important to Forum and related to our current work. Forum invites local artists from multiple disciplines to create artistic responses to a specific prompt, topic, or theme. The outcome is a one-night performance of all of their 10 minute reaction pieces that is casual, experimental, engaging, and electric. More HERE.
